Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using lysconsultinginc.com (the “Site”) or engaging LYS Consulting Inc (“LYS Consulting,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) for notary, bookkeeping, title and closing support, or administrative support services. By using our Site or services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Agreement to Terms

By booking an appointment, submitting a form, or otherwise engaging our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the authority to agree to these Terms on your own behalf or on behalf of the business you represent.

2. Description of Services

LYS Consulting provides:

• Mobile Notary Services, including notarizing documents at a location convenient to you
• Loan Signing Services
• Bookkeeping Services, including QuickBooks setup, cleanup, and monthly reconciliation
• Title and Closing Support, including title search assistance, document review, and closing coordination
• General Administrative Support, including filing, data entry, scheduling, and correspondence

Availability of specific services may vary, and we reserve the right to decline or discontinue any service at our discretion.

3. Appointments, Booking, and Cancellations

• Appointments can be scheduled through our Site’s booking system or by contacting us directly.
• We request at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made with less notice, or missed appointments, may be subject to a cancellation fee.
• We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate rescheduling requests but cannot guarantee availability.

4. Payments and Fees

• Payments for our services are processed securely through Stripe.
• Fees for services will be communicated to you before your appointment or the start of work.
• You agree to provide accurate and current payment information.

5. No Legal, Tax, or Financial Advice

LYS Consulting is not a law firm, accounting firm, or financial advisory service. Nothing provided through our Site or services constitutes legal, tax, or financial advice. You should consult a licensed attorney, CPA, or financial advisor for advice specific to your situation.

6. Notary Services Disclaimer

As a Texas-commissioned notary public, our role is limited to acting as an impartial witness to the signing of documents and verifying the identity of signers, in accordance with Texas law. Specifically:

• We do not draft, review, or provide advice on the legal content or effect of any document presented for notarization.
• You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of any document you ask us to notarize.
• A notarial act does not verify the truthfulness of a document’s contents, only that the signer appeared before the notary and was properly identified.

7. Bookkeeping Services Disclaimer

• LYS Consulting is not a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) firm, and our bookkeeping services do not constitute an audit, review, or attestation of your financial records.
• You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the source documents and information you provide to us.
• Any reports or reconciliations we prepare are based solely on the information you provide, and we are not liable for decisions made based on that information.

8. Title and Closing Support Disclaimer

Our title and closing support services are limited to document preparation assistance, title search coordination, and administrative support during a real estate transaction. LYS Consulting is not a licensed title insurance agent, escrow agent, or attorney. Where Texas law requires a licensed title agent, underwriter, or attorney to issue title insurance or conduct a closing, we will refer you to an appropriately licensed professional. We are not responsible for services that fall outside our scope and require separate licensure.

9. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information and documents
• Attend scheduled appointments on time or provide adequate cancellation notice
• Review all documents before signing or submitting them
• Comply with all applicable laws in connection with the documents or information you provide

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our Site, including text, graphics, logos, and design, is the property of LYS Consulting Inc or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

11. Refunds and Cancellations

Fees paid for completed services are generally non-refundable. If a service could not be completed due to an error on our part, we will work with you in good faith to resolve the issue, which may include a partial or full refund at our discretion.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LYS Consulting Inc shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our Site or services, including but not limited to damages resulting from inaccurate information you provided, delays, or third-party service interruptions (including payment processing through Stripe). Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service in question.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold LYS Consulting Inc harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of our services, or inaccurate information or documents you provided to us.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of our Site or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
